There was huge excitement and pride for everyone at Fylde Hockey Club as our Under 12 Girls team travelled to London to compete in the National In2 Clubs Finals after an incredible tournament run. The girls began their journey in the Lancashire qualifying round, where they produced outstanding performances to beat Coastal, Didsbury, Preston and Lytham and secure their place at the North West In2 Tournament. The Fylde Hockey Club Under 14 girls produced a fantastic performance away against Deeside to win the Under 14 North West Tier 2 competition in style. After a strong opening half, Fylde broke the deadlock just before the interval when Sophia Taylor unleashed a superb strike to put the visitors ahead and give the team real momentum heading into half time.
