Celebrating Our Junior Stars – Fylde Hockey Club Junior Awards 2026

Yesterday, Fylde Hockey Club came together to celebrate another fantastic season at our Junior Awards Event, and what a brilliant day it was! The day began on the pitch with a morning full of fun activities kindly delivered by Perfx Hockey. Players and parents got involved in a variety of exciting games and challenges, it was wonderful to see our hockey community enjoying time together both on and off the pitch.

Following the morning activities, everyone headed up to the Springfields Bar at Mill Farm for food and refreshments before gathering for the highlight of the day – our Junior Awards Ceremony.

The awards gave us the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of all our junior sections throughout the season. We recognised our newly formed Saturday Morning Fun Club, led by Sharon and her fantastic group of young leaders. We also celebrated our Beavers team, led by Steven, and all of our junior club teams, from our Under 10 and Under 12 groups coached by Reb and her wonderful team of volunteers, through to our Under 14s led by Martin.

There have been some incredible achievements across the club this season. Our Under 14 Girls were crowned Tier 2 North West Champions, while our Under 12 Girls enjoyed an outstanding run to the National In2Hockey Finals in London, where they finished as the 8th best team in the country – an achievement everyone at Fylde Hockey Club is immensely proud of.

These successes are a reflection of the dedication, commitment and hard work shown by all of our players throughout the season. A huge thank you goes to all of our amazing coaches and volunteers who give up so much of their time to support and develop our young players. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

We would also like to thank all of our players and parents for their commitment throughout the season. Whether travelling near or far, in sunshine, wind or rain, your support and dedication make our junior section such a special place to be.

It has been a truly memorable season for our juniors and we are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in September for another exciting season of hockey.
