Membership

NEW for 24/25 season Membership fees can be paid yearly, or over an 8 month period  either via standing order or by card through out TEAMO App.  

Membership fees cover the cost of all age group training sessions, coaching and games played across the year.

Equipment and Safety

Safety whilst playing is of fundamental importance. The club has spare hockey sticks for players to borrow. All players are strongly recommended to wear shin pads and mouth guards at all training sessions. We also recommend wearing gloves.

​

The game is only safe if the players play in the correct manner and listen to instruction from the qualified coaching staff.

Junior Games & Selection

At Fylde HC we recognise the value of learning through gameplay. We have seen great progress from our juniors using this policy. Presently, our juniors are entered into the: England Hockey tournaments; England Hockey Championships;  Lancashire North Tournaments for u8s, U10s, u12's and U14's; 

​

All competitions and games are entered dependent on numbers. Where we have more players than teams, places will be selected by a selection committee made up of the Head Coach, Junior Head Coach and Junior Club Captain.

• Player’s age

• Hockey Ability

• Attitude

• Training Attendance
